2 days training program on formation of Self Help Group (SHG), organised by Shestrong Association at Ningthoukhong office. Subhas is the trainer of the training program, he has 6 yrs of experience on managing NGO and he has already form 100 above SHG across Imphal East & Imphal West.

As a part of the social upliftment program that has come up with many rounds of discussion and strategies shestrong Association has today conducted its first Program at Shantipur, Ningthoukhong Ward No.2. The Program includes E-shram Registration online, issue cards for 34 beneficiaries under Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY) , Applying Pan Card and Opening Bank Account for Unorganised Workers in the area which will benefit these Unorganised workers coming from different sectors like construction,agriculture,weaver,street vendors migrant workers and domestic workers etc. in Shantipur. The Event was organised and conducted together with Shantipur United Club.

Benefits of the event :

Applying Pan Card Registration for 11 locals which will enables them to Opening Bank Account,
Shop License,
starts a Business,
Purchasing and selling of immovable items
Purchasing and selling of Four wheelers
Cash deposits and Transaction within Bank for above Rs. 50,000/-

TWO DAYS OF WORKSHOP ON CLIMATE CHANGE & SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT admin Wed, 12/21/2016 - 05:25

Our planet is experiencing a serious climate change issue. People and organizations around the world work extremely hard and strive to protect our future and our next generation. In support of saving earth and utilizing available resources effectively, the United NGO Manipur (UNM) - M PRDA Bishnupur presented a two-day workshop at the PRDA Conference Hall, Bishnupur today. Participating in this workshop, were members of the Shestrong Association and other organizations interested in saving the next generation.

A summary of the program for two days are as follows:

Day 1: 29th Dec 2021

Arrival and registration of participants start at 9.30am

L Rebati Devi, convenor of the district women's committee,(DWC) Bishnupur Under UNM- M welcomes everyone at 10.00 am. Presenting a short film on Climate Change and Palm Oil at 10.10am

Discussion session at 10.25am

Dr. Y Rajesh Professor Dept of Earth Science Manipur University presents a lecture at 10.45am on climate change Talk, recommendation / Follow-up, 01.15 pm. At 02.15am, L Suranjoy, the secretary of the PRDA Bishnupur, presented a vote of thanks

Day 2: 30th December 2021
